Tennessee Titans give Will Levis a familiar weapon with an epic trade idea

Receiver Wan'Dale Robinson may benefit from more minutes on the field if given the opportunity. This can be made possible if the Tennessee Titans decide to acquire him from the New York Giants in the coming weeks.

Robinson's football journey began at Nebraska, where he became a versatile threat, excelling as both a running back and receiver. After a promising 2019 season, he chose to transfer to Kentucky, where he would solidify his status as one of the best receivers in the country.

In 2021, Robinson shattered school records with 104 receptions for 1,334 yards, helping the Wildcats win the Citrus Bowl. His stellar collegiate performance caught the attention of the New York Giants, who selected him in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Robinson made an immediate impact for the Giants, but his rookie campaign was marred by a knee injury and torn ACL. Despite the setbacks, he demonstrated his ability as a playmaker, including a standout performance against the Green Bay Packers in Week 14.

In 2023, Robinson bounced back with 60 receptions for 525 yards and two total touchdowns, solidifying his role in the Giants' offense. As he enters his third professional season, the 22-year-old is ready to build on his promising start and emerge as one of the most dynamic young receivers in the league.

Tennessee Titans Identified as Potential Landing Spot for Wan'Dale Robinson in Interesting Trade Proposal

Although Robinson has surprised New York in some games, it's still possible the front office could match him up in the coming months. An article by Kristopher Knox for Bleacher Report explains why the Tennessee Titans should pursue the Giants wide receiver.

If Robinson doesn't see much playing time before the trade deadline, the Tennessee Titans should make a move. They added Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd this offseason to complement DeAndre Hopkins. However, their top three receivers will be 30 or older by the end of the season.

Hopkins and Boyd will also be free agents in 2025.

Adding another young receiver to develop alongside Treylon Burks and second-year quarterback Will Levis would make a lot of sense for Tennessee. This makes Robinson an ideal trade target as he is 23 years old and spent the 2021 season with Levis in Kentucky,” Knox wrote.

Robinson's youth and the promise he brings might be enough for the Titans to consider him. If he does well, Tennessee will get a talented receiver who can stay with the team for a long time.

It remains to be seen whether the Giants shop Robinson or keep him. If it's the former, the Titans better go after him right away.
