New Delhi: Police on Tuesday arrested three people for fatally stabbing a 15-year-old boy in Jahangirpuri, northwest Delhi. The motive for the murder would be an argument between the victim and one of the accused's brothers. The accused have been identified as Hans (19), Nathu (18) and Dev (19). Police said they received a PCR call about a boy lying in a park on Tuesday. A team from the local police station arrived on site. The injured boy was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. “The victim suffered a stab wound to the left side of the chest. It was gathered that the incident took place in the park between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. CCTV footage near the incident site has been analyzed and we have identified three persons,” the officer said. A case under sections 302 (murder) and 34 (common intention) of the IPC was registered. Police said they conducted searches and arrested the three men. One of them told police that the boy had argued with his brother a month ago and they wanted revenge. tnn
