Teenager killed in apparent stabbing in Forest Law, Calgary police say

A teenager died from apparent stab wounds after an altercation in Forest Lawn Thursday evening, police said.

Officers were called to the 1300 block of 41st Street SE around 7 p.m. for reports of a fight with a weapon.

At the scene, police found the teen suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds, police said in a statement Friday.

He was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition, where he died from his injuries.

The homicide squad is investigating.

An autopsy has been scheduled for June 10.

Police said no further details would be released until the autopsy was completed.
