An investigation is currently underway and officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.

Inspector Steve Griffiths said: “This incident occurred on a busy stretch of road at a time of day when many people were driving. We are therefore asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or captured dashcam or CCTV footage that may assist our investigations: to contact us.
