Teenager fights for life after horror crash as appeal launches

A teenager is fighting for his life following a horror two-vehicle crash in County Fermanagh.

The PSNI is appealing for witnesses following an accident involving a Peugeot 207 sport HDI Silver and a Honda Accord Blue on Friday June 7 at around 6 p.m.

Police attended the scene along with Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance Northern Ireland on Letterboy Road.

A teenager is fighting for his life following a horror two-vehicle crash in County Fermanagh.

The driver of the Peugeot, an 18-year-old man, was rushed to hospital with his life in danger. He currently remains in critical condition.

A 44-year-old man was also taken to hospital with injuries that are not currently life-threatening.

The road, once closed, has since reopened to all traffic on Saturday morning.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Our investigation is currently underway to establish exactly what happened.

“We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1515 of 06/07/24.”
