Teenager collects over 100,000 books for children in need

Natasha Agarwal was only in eighth grade when the idea came to her mind. As the COVID-19 pandemic began to spread across the world, she began reading more books. She then realized that not all children had access to books to read. ” Agarwal said. The teen started an organization called Believe N' Books. She began holding book drives at schools in Southwest Florida with an ambitious goal: to collect 100,000 books in three years. Three years later, she's collected that many and several thousand more. “That’s what really moved me and made me want to inspire positive change in this area,” Agarwal said.

The teenager founded an organization called Believe N' Books. She began organizing book drives at schools in Southwest Florida with an ambitious goal: to collect 100,000 books in three years.

Three years later, she collected as many, even several thousand more.

Believe N' Books now has several chapters across the country, all with the same mission of inspiring children to read.

“It really had an impact on me,” Agarwal said. “And I loved interacting with the children who receive the books. It's very enriching.”
