Teenager charged with illegal gun possession in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Maryland— On Wednesday, at approximately 4:15 p.m., detectives with the City’s Crime Enforcement Team (CWET) observed a man with signs of a weapon in the 2400 block of Cold Spring Lane. After attempting to approach him, the man fled on foot, but was apprehended after a short pursuit.

A 19-year-old man was arrested and police recovered a handgun during the incident. The suspect was taken to the Central Case Management Centre (CBIF) for processing.

    NEW YORK, NY—The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying an individual involved in an assault incident at the West 125th Street and Saint Nicholas subway station. The incident occurred within the confines of the 26th Precinct/Transit District 3 on Wednesday at approximately 9:05 a.m.

    A 72-year-old man was punched in the face by an unknown assailant while he was on the mezzanine of the station, causing him to fall. The attacker then fled. Fortunately, the victim suffered only minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

    Anyone with information or recognizing the individual from the attached media is encouraged to contact the NYPD to assist in the investigation.

  • Police seek help identifying John Doe in New York

    NEW YORK, NY—The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man currently under medical care at NYC Health and Hospitals/Woodhull. The individual was transported by EMS on Thursday, April 25, 2024 and remains unidentified as he is unable to communicate with medical personnel or police.

    The man is described as black, approximately 60 years old, approximately 5'7″ tall and approximately 130 pounds. He has brown eyes, salt and pepper hair and a white beard. The case falls under the jurisdiction of the 79th Precinct.

    Anyone with information that may help identify this individual is asked to contact the New York City Police Department.
