Teenage NBA fan among kids looking for adoptive families

Alisha is a sweet and empathetic 16-year-old girl with a huge heart. She will go above and beyond for those she cares about. He's the kind of kid who will spend his Saturday happily serving food to others at the Soup Kitchen.

Alisha loves having younger children and feels it is her job to care for them. She is very protective of those she cares about.

The teenager is a natural athlete and believes weightlifting helped her deal with her past anger. Alisha loves basketball! Due to some sports injuries, she is no longer able to play but is an avid NBA watcher. She is a huge Golden State Warriors and Lakers fan and can give you all the stats of her favorite players!

Alisha truly wants to make a difference in this world and is very focused on her future.

Saint Francis Ministries is a nonprofit organization and community care provider for Region 1 of the Texas Department of Family Protective Services. This region includes 41 Panhandle and South Plains counties.

To learn more about foster care or adoption, those interested are encouraged to attend one of the monthly virtual meetings hosted by St. Francis Ministries and other child placement agencies. The meetings provide information on how to get started, basic qualifications and more, plus give attendees the opportunity to ask questions.
