Teen mum Amber Portwood speaks out following the disappearance of her partner Gary Wayt

Amber Portwood has made a desperate appeal to her fans and the public as her partner Gary Wayt is still missing.

Wayt, 39, was reported missing by the Bryson City Police Department in North Carolina on June 11, according to a Facebook post, and was last seen in the area on June 9.

On June 11, Portwood joined a YouTube livestream to provide an update on the situation, calling it a “huge deal.”

“His parents, everyone is very worried. I'm worried,” Portwood, 34, said. “We are very scared right now.”

Wayt was last seen “alone” and “on camera” at an area Walgreens, she said, “and that's all we know.”

THE Teen mom The star clarified that there “wasn't a big fight or anything like that” between her and her boyfriend, before admitting that they had “a discussion” before he leave the house.

“No one was heated or anything, it was emotional because it had something to do with his parents being Vietnamese and me being who I am,” Portwood said. “He was very upset about it, I was upset. We don't yell at each other, we don't hurt each other.”

She added that when Wayt left, “he took his keys and his wallet but he didn't take his phone.”

“We are very much in love. This man asked me to be with him, this man then asked me to marry him,” she said before appealing to the public: “Please Please, if anyone sees it or hears anything, please, I'm begging you guys.”

“I pray for everyone who sees him. No one has found him or heard from him yet.”

According to the police department's post, Wayt weighs 205 pounds, is bald and has brown eyes.

Authorities also noted that he owned a gray 2009 Nissan Rogue SUV and encouraged anyone with information on Wayt's whereabouts to contact the police department at 828-488-2196.
