'Teen Mom' Star Amber Portwood Opens Up About Her Fiance's Disappearance: 'Everybody's Very Worried'

Amber Portwood is speaking out following the recent passing of her fiancé, Gary R. Wayt. Tuesday, the Teen mom star appeared on a Youtube live broadcast on Elle Bee's pagemaking a tearful appeal to all her followers to help her find her missing fiancé.

After briefly turning on her camera to verify her identity, Amber kept the camera off of her for the remainder of her live stream time. The 34-year-old MTV star got emotional as she told fans: “No, guys, please listen to me. He's missing. It's a huge deal. His parents, everyone I'm worried. I'm worried.”

Despite the reports, Amber insisted that she and her fiancé did not have a “big fight” before her disappearance, but rather an “emotional” discussion.

“There was no explosive argument. I'm not what people say I am,” Amber insisted. “I changed a long time ago. I am an honest person.”

Amber doubled down on her claims that she didn't do anything to Gary.

“I didn’t touch this man in a horrible way,” Amber said. “He hasn't touched me in a horrible way. We don't yell at each other. We have a wonderful relationship.”

As for the alleged final discussion between Amber and Gary, she said: “It was a discussion. Nobody was passionate or anything. It was emotional because it had something to do with the fact that her “My parents were Vietnamese and I am who I am. It has nothing to do with us personally.”

Amber said she had been in contact with Gary's family since his disappearance and had been staying alone in North Carolina, afraid to leave in case Gary showed up.

“It's very serious. I've never dealt with anything like this,” Amber said. “I'm doing my best to hold on…I haven't eaten in three days. I slept maybe an hour.”

According to an incident/investigation report obtained by ET, Wayt was last seen on Sunday around 6 p.m. at a nearby hotel. Amber, 34, and Gary, 39, live together in Indianapolis, Indiana, and the case remains active.

Bryson City police posted photos of Gary on Facebook Tuesday as part of a public appeal to locate his whereabouts. He was last seen driving a gray 2009 Nissan Rogue registered in the state of Indiana. Anyone with information is asked to call Bryson City Police and ask for Chief Robinson or Deputy Chief Dover.

Amber first rose to fame after appearing on the MTV docuseries 16 and pregnant, which chronicled her teenage pregnancy with then-boyfriend Gary Shirley. They share a daughter, Leah, 15, whose upbringing has also been documented in a number of MTV spin-offs, including Teen mom (later OG Teen Mom) And Teen Mom: Family Reunion.
