New York City police investigate fatal scooter crash in University Heights, Bronx

BRONX, NEW YORK (June 5, 2024) – One teenager tragically died and another was injured in a car crash in University Heights, Bronx, on University Avenue.

New York police say the collision happened Thursday. A 19-year-old was riding a scooter with a 16-year-old girl when they were struck by a Honda Pilot.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision to help the victims. The 16-year-old girl tragically died from her injuries.
