Police said it was reported that four men entered the store wearing masks and stole items from CVS.

Police said witnesses said the men left the scene in a white Nissan sedan and were driving north on Main Street.

While police searched the area, they found the vehicle at the Exxon gas station at 628 Queen Street and it was occupied by five youths between the ages of 15 and 17.

They were all arrested without incident.

According to SPD, it was learned that the Nissan Altima had a registration matching that of the vehicles stolen from Bridgeport on June 16.

Police verified the juveniles' involvement in the CVS incident after reviewing closed-circuit television surveillance footage.

All five teens were released to their guardians before appearing in Bridgeport Juvenile Court on June 21.

A juvenile was charged with motor vehicle theft, third-degree robbery, sixth-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree robbery.

A second juvenile was charged with sixth-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree robbery and obstructing a police officer.

The third and fourth minors were both charged with sixth-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree robbery.

A fifth juvenile was charged with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Due to their age, police have not identified the juvenile suspects involved in the case.
