TEEN EVENTS AT STRATFORD LIBRARY IN JULY

Camp Crafts: 11am-2pm. Camp out in the Teen Space with friends this summer and try something new or share your skills and talents with others. Come during camp hours to paint, create sand art and more. Camp dates: 7/8, 7/11, 7/15, 7/18, 7/22, 7/25, 7/29, 8/1. No registration required; while supplies last. Grades 7-13. Location: Teen Department.

7/9: 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Tuesday teens: Movie night: Barbie: Love them or hate them, Barbie and Ken are some of the hottest characters of 2023, so we’re throwing a Barbie party. Barbie on the big screen, Barbie and Ken Bingo with cool prizes and make your own sundaes. No registration required; for grades 7-13. Venue: Lovell Hall.

16/07: 3 p.m.-4:30 p.m.: Tuesday Teen: Pokémon Party: Trainers: You’re invited to our annual Poké Party! Join us for cartoons, a Pokémon craft, Pokémon stickers and buttons, video games, and Poké snacks. Come dressed as your favorite character for a chance to win a prize. No registration required; for grades 7-13. See you soon! Location: Lovell Hall.

23/07: 3 p.m.-5 p.m.: Tuesday teens: Picnic in the sun at the library: Come have a picnic in the sun on the library lawn. We will have giant games, craft tables, music, and of course all the delicious things people like to eat at a picnic. If you have a favorite picnic blanket you would like to show off, feel free to bring it. No registration required; for grades 7-13. Location: Library lawn.

07/25: 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m.: K-pop evening: Spend time and enjoy K-pop related activities with other fans. Watch music videos, listen to K-pop and dance, decorate top loaders, trade Lomo cards, sing karaoke, and try Korean snacks. No registration required; for grades 7-13. Location: Lovell Hall.

7/30: 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Tuesday Teens: Cupcake Decorating and Game Night: We will be bringing out all the games (board, giant and Switch), music and karaoke. Of course, there will still be snacks and tonight we will be decorating our own cupcakes! Come relax with your friends. No registration required; for grades 7-13. Location: Lovell Hall.
