Teen driver killed in Nokesville crash

NOKESVILLE, VA – Thursday at 3:22 p.m., investigators were dispatched to the intersection of Fitzwater Dr and Manely Rd in Nokesville to assess a serious single vehicle crash. The investigation determined that Christopher Steve Flores, 18, of Manassas, lost control of a 2013 Infiniti G37 while speeding westbound on Fitzwater Dr.

The car left the road, hitting several trees and spinning before stopping. Flores, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital.

Unfortunately, Flores succumbed to his injuries in hospital. Authorities have confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in this tragic incident. Local police are calling on witnesses to the accident to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.

  • Fatal motorcycle crash in Galloway Township

    GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ – Early Sunday morning, around 12:17 a.m., Galloway Township Police were called to East Moss Mill Road near Sander Place for a motorcycle accident. Upon arrival, officers found Joseph Stetser, 59, of Absecon, New Jersey, and his 2006 Harley Davidson in the roadway.

    Stetser had suffered life-threatening injuries after striking a guardrail while traveling west on East Moss Mill Road. He was thrown from his motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.

    No witnesses have come forward regarding the incident. The Galloway Township Police Department's Traffic Safety Unit continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
