Teen charged with homicide after fatal Franklin shooting

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Saturday evening in the McKay's Mill neighborhood of Franklin.

Franklin police said one person was killed in the Saturday, May 25, shooting.

Self-defense claim investigated after deadly shooting in JC Napier area

Authorities say 18-year-old Matthew Roufail was arrested and charged with criminal homicide. His bond was set at $150,000.

Authorities said they believed it was an isolated incident, but gave no additional details about the circumstances of the shooting.
