Teen arrested for assaulting another teen in Washington

WASHINGTON DC – A 16-year-old man was arrested today after allegedly assaulting another teen with a gun earlier this month.

The incident occurred on May 13 around 3:51 p.m., when DC Metro Police were alerted to an injured teenager at the intersection of Randle Place and Alabama Avenue, Southeast.

The victim, whose life is not in danger, was transported to a local hospital. He said he was attacked by another teen in the 600 block of Savannah Street, Southeast, where he was struck with a gun.

Using security camera footage, detectives were able to identify and charge the suspect.
