Teen arrested after stabbing person during large fight near Jersey Shore

A large fight in Atlantic County involving about 15 to 20 teenagers resulted in the arrest of a 15-year-old girl, accused of stabbing someone multiple times during the fight, the police said. police.

Pleasantville police responded to Whalers Drive Wednesday to break up a large fight between a group of teenagers and found one person had been stabbed multiple times and another juvenile had been pepper-sprayed, they said. police in a press release Friday.

The minor who was stabbed suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.

A 15-year-old Atlantic City girl was identified as a suspect in the stabbing and was arrested. Pleasantville police did not say when she was arrested.

The girl was the subject of a criminal complaint and then released pending a court appearance, police said.

An investigation into the fight is underway, authorities said. Pleasantville police did not immediately respond to a message asking questions Saturday.
