Teen arrested after stabbing in Fort Edward

FORT EDWARD, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Washington County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of a juvenile. The 16-year-old boy was arrested following a stabbing on Broadway in Fort Edward.

Charges

• First degree assault
• Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree
• Second degree threat

The juvenile's name is not being released due to his age. He allegedly stabbed another 16-year-old boy who police say suffered multiple stab wounds and a punctured lung.

The victim is in stable condition. The suspect was arraigned in Washington County Juvenile Court and released to his parents while being supervised by the Washington County Probation and Alternative Sentencing Department.
