Teen arrested after Elk Grove crash leaves 1 seriously injured

A chase with a stolen vehicle left one person seriously injured Monday evening, the Elk Grove Police Department said. Officers arrested a teenage driver in connection with this. Elk Grove police said they were chasing the stolen vehicle before it crashed into another car at Laguna Park Drive and Franklin Boulevard. The driver struck by the stolen vehicle was not involved at all and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Officers arrested a 13-year-old boy, police said. The road where the accident occurred was closed for several hours before officers reopened it. A chase with a stolen vehicle left one person seriously injured Monday evening, the Elk Grove Police Department said. Police arrested a teenage driver in connection with this case.

Elk Grove police said they were pursuing the stolen vehicle before it crashed into another car at Laguna Park Drive and Franklin Boulevard. The driver struck by the stolen vehicle was not involved at all and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officers took a 13-year-old into custody, police said.

The road where the accident occurred was closed for several hours before police reopened it.
