TBI issues Silver Alert for missing woman in Nashville, Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) issued a Silver Alert Saturday evening for a woman with dementia who went missing after leaving a Nashville hospital.

According to authorities, Dorothy Martin, 64, was last seen leaving TriStar Centennial Medical Center in the 2300 block of Patterson Street on the afternoon of Friday, June 7.


The TBI described Martin as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 175 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes, adding that she suffered from health conditions that could impact her ability to return home safely without assistance. Specifically, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) said Martin suffered from dementia and needed to take his medication.
