TBI issues Silver Alert for missing 78-year-old man from Van Buren County, Tennessee

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) issued a Silver Alert Saturday afternoon on behalf of the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department for a missing man suffering from a health.

According to authorities, Richard Jordan, 78, was last seen on Friday, June 14, wearing gray shorts and an orange polo shirt with blue stripes. The TBI described him as 6 feet tall and 195 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.

Authorities said Jordan may have been traveling with his dog in a silver 2017 Chevrolet Impala with Tennessee tag 0NPQ79.

The TBI said Jordan's medical condition could impact his ability to return home safely without assistance.
