Tampa teen arrested after Walmart stabbing

TAMPA, Florida. – Tampa police arrested an 18-year-old man after a stabbing at the Walmart located at 1505 N. Dale Mabry Highway.

Officers responded to a reported altercation inside the store at 1:39 p.m., which escalated when Jhustin Viloria-Jimenez allegedly pulled out a knife and injured another person.

An adult male was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Viloria-Jimenez was arrested and charged with culpable negligence and causing actual injury (Batt9000).

Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances leading to the altercation.

The Walmart at that location has since reopened.
