Tampa man kills his parents, shoots deputy before being killed

A Tampa man is dead following a shootout with Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies after shooting both of his parents Saturday night. According to HCSO, deputies were called to the 14000 block of Cactus Wren Place in Tampa for a shooting shortly after 11 p.m. SATURDAY. The caller told the HCSO dispatcher that her husband had been shot and that several more shots had been fired while she was speaking with the dispatcher. When officers arrived, they encountered the caller and the suspected shooter outside the residence. The sheriff's office said the suspect then shot the caller's mother before shooting responding officers. HCSO identified the suspect as 19-year-old Christos Alexander.
