Paramount+ has finally shared the full Tales from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer, telling fans what to expect from its upcoming animated spinoff series.

The 12-episode series will be available to stream starting Friday, August 9. This follows the critical success of last year's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, which is still currently Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a Tomatometer score of 95%.

In the latest trailer for Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the titular team finds themselves separated against a supervillain who plans to wipe out all mutants. Now they must overcome the challenge of being alone for the first time in New York. They must find a way to come together to save the mutants.

“The series explores the adventures of everyone's favorite pizza-loving heroes as they emerge from the sewers onto the streets of New York. Leo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey face new threats and team up with old allies to survive both teenage life and the villains lurking in the shadows of the Big Apple,” reads- we in the newspaper.

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a 2D animated series that follows the 2023 film. It features the return of the film's dynamic cast, including Micah Abbey (Cousins ​​for Life) as Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr (THE CHI) as Michelangelo, Nicolas Cantu (The Walking Dead: World Beyond) as Leonardo, Brady Noon (Family Switch) as Raphael and Ayo Edebiri (The Bear) as the role of April O'Neil. It will also include guest stars such as Pete Davidson as RoRod, a rich kid and lover of mutants, and Alanna Ubach (Ted) as Bishop, a brilliant inventor who believes that mutants pose the greatest danger to humanity.
