TALES OF THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Trailer Reveals the Series' Main Villain

The first full trailer for Paramount+'s 2D animation Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem derived series, Tales from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesis now live and brings us up to date with the very fun Heroes in a Half-Shell which follows the events of the critically acclaimed film.

The teaser reveals that Leo, Mikey, Raph, and Donnie will be flying solo at the start of the series, and we'll likely follow them on individual adventures before they band together to take on a new villain called Bishop.

Based on the nickname, there's a good chance he's a new version of Earth Protection Force Agent John Bishop, who debuted in the 2003 animated series.

Very little is still known about this show, but it is expected to take place between the events of Mutant Chaos and the planned sequel, which means there's a good chance we'll follow the boys as they try to adjust to life outside the sewers.

At the end of Mutant Chaosthe Fearsome Foursome save the town from Superfly and are accepted into “normal” society, abandoning their iconic bandanas and enrolling in April O'Neil's high school.

The trailers suggest we'll also follow the team as they return to the streets as shadowy vigilantes, but we wouldn't be surprised if the latter TMNT The series took a slightly different path than fans were used to seeing in previous adventures.

Will the Shredder appear, perhaps? The Turtles' mortal enemy appeared at the end of Mutant Chaosbut we'd say the character will most likely be saved for the big screen follow-up.
