Tal Alexander, third brother of real estate dynasty to face rape allegations, steps down from business

The Alexander twins' older brother of the real estate dynasty walked away from the brokerage firm he co-founded after being accused in a civil lawsuit of raping a New York woman more than a decade ago .

Lawyers for Tal Alexander, 37, said in a statement Tuesday that the financier would be “taking a leave of absence from the company to fully focus on clearing his name” because of the “salacious nature of this false allegation.”

“He will not allow these allegations to be a further distraction to the company or its customers,” attorneys Milton Williams and Deanna Paul said.

They added that Tal “looks forward to joining the official team as soon as possible.”

One of Tal's younger siblings, Oren, has already been kicked out of Official, the brokerage firm he co-founded, after two explosive lawsuits claiming he and his twin Alon, who runs a private security, had raped two women several years ago.

Since the sickening allegations surfaced against the twins, nearly 30 other women have come forward to make similar allegations implicating them, according to the attorney representing the two plaintiffs, Kate Whiteman and Rebecca Mandel.

“Once the first legal proceedings were launched, the floodgates opened,” a source at Official told The Post on Tuesday. “People in the industry have known this for a long time – it’s a well-known secret. Don't be surprised to learn that this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Tal initially dodged the accusations.

But last week, an equally volcanic lawsuit filed by a woman named Angelica Parker claimed that Tal and the twins conspired to rape her in a “coordinated sexual assault” in the brothers' shared SoHo apartment not long ago after their meeting in the fall of 2012. .

Parker said Tal tried to sexually assault her again several years later, according to the complaint filed in Manhattan Supreme Court.

But Parker let out a loud scream, which stopped his would-be attacker in his tracks, according to the suit.

His lawyer, Michael Willemin, said in a statement that the litigation “was intended to send the message that the law applies even to very wealthy and well-connected people, including the Alexanders.”

Lawyers for the three brothers denounced the lawsuits as scams and denied the allegations.

Tal's attorney said in a statement that it was “unfortunate but entirely predictable that shakedown performers would be lining up given the allegations against Tal's brothers.”

“Tal has done absolutely nothing wrong, and anyone hoping to peddle outrageous lies in hopes of a quick payday is going to find themselves disappointed,” the statement said.

Tal and Oren worked for years at Douglas Elliman, a high-end company that moves incredibly expensive homes.

Properties managed by the brothers included the most expensive ever purchased in the United States: a 24,000-square-foot apartment acquired in 2019 by billionaire hedge fund Ken Griffin, who paid a whopping $238 million for the location .

The three siblings are part of a real estate dynasty started by their father, Shlomy Alexander.
