Suspects identified in suspicious fire at Amy Woodland

Early Sunday morning (June 30), Cranbrook Fire and Emergency Services attended Amy Woodland School for a reported fire. Cranbrook RCMP also attended and began an investigation into the fire.

Video canvases were conducted in the area and a video showed persons who were in the area at the time of the fire.

“As a result of releasing the video to the public, persons of interest have been identified,” said Cst. Katie Forgeron. “We want to thank everyone who called in and provided information with regard to the identity of those individuals.”

No charges have been laid at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
