Suspected duo of motorcycle vandals charged | News

Pedro Cura-Hernandez, 29, of 1307 Ella in El Campo and Omar Reyes, 26, of 6073 Hwy. Midfield No. 111 now faces up to two years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

Cura is charged with violating his probation for possession of a controlled substance, aggravated assault, deadly weapon (two counts) and child endangerment (three counts).

Reyes and Cura allegedly got into an argument with a group of bikers on the Los Cucos field around 7:30 p.m. that evening.

They left the scene and the bikers apologized to the restaurant's customers for the disturbance that they had not caused and remained on the scene.

The two men returned about 20 minutes later when police said they targeted the motorcycles, then fled only to be found by police and the bikers who pursued them.
