PHOENIX (AZ family) — Police are searching for a man who allegedly stabbed a woman Sunday in Phoenix.

Just before 1 a.m., officers responded to a call about a stabbing near Glendale and 19th Avenue.

When they arrived, they found a woman with multiple stab wounds. She was hospitalized with serious injuries.

Police said the unknown suspect left the scene before they arrived.
