Suspect in violent series of stabbings identified

CAUGHT AFTER BEING ARRESTED. MATT MATT AND JENNIFER THIS SUSPECT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AS JARED RIVERA, 26 YEARS OLD. HE IS BEING TREATED HERE AT THE SOUTH SHORE HOSPITAL AFTER AN ACCIDENT SATURDAY WHICH FOLLOWED A SPREAD, POLICE ON THE SOUTH SHORE SAID THROUGH THE WEEKEND. NOW THIS IS WHAT WE ARE HERE. We know we've heard from the girls' mother. RIVERA IS ACCUSED OF STABBING INSIDE THE BRAINTREE AMC MOVIE THEATER. LISA DEMBOWSKI SAYS HER 17-YEAR-OLD, NINE-YEAR-OLD TWIN AND THE TEENAGER'S FRIENDS ALL BACK HOME THIS MORNING. She said the girls sat down when the suspect came up behind them and started attacking them, laughing the whole time. ONE OF THEM HITTEN THE CHEST, ANOTHER IN THE BACK AND ONE IN THE ARM. THEY ARE PHYSICALLY WELL. Um, I think they are. YOU KNOW, CHILDREN ARE RESILIENT. Um, but I think they're terrified of going to see a movie on a Saturday night, and that could happen when someone could walk into a movie theater and do that. Now, Dembowski says her oldest daughter went to AMC management when all this happened, and she says they didn't believe her, so she had to call 911 herself. THE SUSPECT ALSO FACES CHARGES IN CONNECTION WITH A STRIKE IN PLYMOUTH THE SAME DAY. We'll have more on this later down the line.
