FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. (WSVN) – A suspect driving a suspected stolen vehicle was arrested by police in Fort Lauderdale after a brief pursuit.

Around 10 a.m. Tuesday, authorities followed the Audi to the area of ​​Sistrunk Boulevard near Interstate 95.

Local law enforcement began following the vehicle after the driver allegedly crashed in the area of ​​Northwest 11th Street and 15th Court and fled the scene. After traveling a few blocks, the car crashed into a house located northwest of 16th Street and 11th Lane.

7Skyforce flew over the scene of the house, where the vehicle was seen hitting the house.

The suspect fled authorities for a few minutes, but was eventually arrested and taken into custody.

Their identities and the charges against them have not been released.

Deputies from the Florida Highway Patrol and Broward Sheriff's Office are assisting Fort Lauderdale police with this incident.
