Suspect describes horrifying details of alleged rape of 13-year-old girl, report says

The man accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in New York allegedly recorded the attack and then bought drugs, according to the New York Post, who said Queens Criminal Court prosecutors on Wednesday provided details of an alleged recorded confession by Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi. The 25-year-old was arraigned on charges of rape, kidnapping and other crimes related to the June 13 broad daylight attack in a Queens park. He is accused of brandishing a knife at a girl and a 13-year-old boy while they attacked the young girl. He was arrested after being stopped by Angela Sauretti, 23, who recognized his face from a police photo. Assistant Prosecutor Kasey Esposito read a transcript of the recorded statement in court: “I was nervous at first, then I got comfortable and recorded it,” Inga-Landi said of the attack in the video, according to the Job. “I then went to buy drugs,” he said, according to prosecutors. During the hearing, Inga-Landi could be seen with visible scratches on his face. According to Jobhe “stared sullenly and kept his head down throughout the arraignment,” including when a judge ruled he would be held without bail until his next court appearance, July 1st.
