Suspect charged after 6 people, including 4 girls, stabbed in Massachusetts

BRAINTREE – One person faces charges after police say he attacked four girls during a cinema in Braintree before stabbing two people at a McDonald's at a rest stop in Plymouth.

Four girls attacked at the cinema

According to police, around 6 p.m., Jared Ravizza, 26, entered a movie theater at AMC Braintree 10 without paying and stabbed the four girls. The mother of three of the girls said they were between 9 and 17 years old and were the only people in the theater to see the movie “IF.”

“They were just sitting down, they were just getting their concessions. I guess he came behind them, they were like in the second row. He came behind them. My oldest leaned down to get something thing, he put it in the back. My other daughter in the chest. My last daughter on his arm,” Lisa Dembowski said. “Laugh all the time. SO [stabbed] their friend and ran away. The two older girls chased him outside, then they realized what was happening.”

All four girls were taken to the hospital and are OK.

McDonald's workers stabbed at Plymouth rest stop

Police said Ravizza fled the scene in a black SUV. About an hour later, they allegedly stopped at a rest stop on Route 3 in Plymouth, where they stabbed two McDonald's employees. Both employees were taken to the hospital and are expected to be OK.

A witness obtained the car's license plate number and police said it was registered to Ravizza.

Ravizza left after the stabbing and police said they were taken into custody in Sandwich. They were charged with assault with intent to kill and two counts of battery with a dangerous weapon in connection with the Plymouth stabbings.
