Suspect arrested in west Phoenix stabbing

The suspect was arrested and the victim was found with at least one stab wound. He died at the scene, according to police.

PHOENIX — One person is dead following a stabbing in west Phoenix, city police said.

Phoenix Police responded to the area of Indian School Road and Interstate 17 around 12:30 a.m. Saturday for a stabbing call. Several witnesses told police the suspect was a man and the victim was also a man. The suspect was located and taken into custody, police said.

The victim suffered at least one stab wound and died instantly, police said. The investigation continues throughout the morning and police said they will send out additional information later today.
