Suspect arrested in missing person case in Ville Platte

It's a story we've been following for a week from Ville Platte, Louisiana, and now a suspect has been arrested in the missing persons case.

According to KLFY TV-10, Jerry Verrette is a suspect in the missing person case involving Keke Doucet.

Parish mother Evangeline has been missing for just over a week and police now have a suspect in custody.

Verette is being held at the Evangeline Parish Prison on charges of soliciting prostitutes.

The United Cajun Navy recently joined the search for Doucet, along with his family and friends, and are now hoping this development in the case will bring closure to the family.

KeKe Doucet's family hopes they can find her and bring her home safely.
