Suspect arrested in connection with stabbing in Northwest DC

Officers believe Tommy Hudson was stabbed inside the home where he was found during a domestic situation.

WASHINGTON — A man is in custody for allegedly stabbing another man to death in Northwest DC.

On Tuesday, MPD arrested Ted Anthony Brown, 54, for a stabbing that occurred earlier in the week.

On May 26, officers were dispatched to Harvard Street in the northwest just before 9 a.m. where they found Tommy Hudson, 58, lying outside a house with a stab wound. He was transported to a local hospital where medical officials pronounced him dead.

Officers believe Hudson was stabbed inside the home where he was found during a domestic situation. It is unclear what led to Hudson's death.

Brown is now charged with second-degree murder while armed.
