Students from Fall River, New Bedford and North Attleboro among those vying for Miss Massachusetts Teen at Durfee High School – Fall River Reporter

Fall River, MA – The 24th annual Miss Massachusetts Teen Pageant will be held on Sunday, June 16 at 5:00 p.m. at BMC Durfee High School in Fall River.

The pageant features New Bedford's Emma Gibney, Miss Massachusetts' Teen 2023, and 17 beautiful, intelligent and talented teens from across the Commonwealth. They will compete for scholarships and the opportunity to represent Massachusetts at the Miss America's Teen pageant in Orlando, Florida in January 2025. The show will feature performances by Gibney, who will perform a HerStory, candidates, as well as Spotlight. Taunton Dancers Dance Studio. Pageant producer and choreographer Amanda Narciso Ponte was Miss Massachusetts 2013 and competed in the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This is her tenth year producing the competition. Several former Miss Massachusetts Teen state titleholders will be special guest hosts at the pageant and will be joined by visiting state teens and Miss titleholders from across New England. Miss Massachusetts 2022 Katrina Kincade will be the host of the pageant.

The pageant is the official state preliminary for the Miss America's Teen program. The mission of the Miss America Opportunity Teen Program is to promote academic achievement, creative success, healthy living and community involvement among America's adolescents. The competition is open to girls aged 13 to 18 and they will be judged on their personal interviews, talent, evening wear, stage conversations, lifestyle and fitness.

$50 VIP tickets and $30 general admission tickets are available online through Eventbrite (6/15. On Sunday, in-person general admission tickets will be $40 cash or check only.
