Stillwater man arrested near Boomer Lake Bridge on drug charges

Jamario Deshaun Small, 35, was arrested at 2:59 p.m. May 3 at 700 W. “While searching Jamario, Officer Moore felt the outline of what he believed to be a small package of narcotics that he had encountered from numerous other narcotics contacts. Officer Moore asked Jamario what the item was, and Jamario began trying to reach into his pocket,” the affidavit states.

After his arm was pinned, “Jamario then attempted to move his arm away from Officer Moore, turned and attempted to flee,” before being taken to the ground, according to the affidavit.

“On his person we found two small pieces of torn plastic bag, each containing a white crystal-like substance that I know from my training and experience to be methamphetamine,” as well as money. in small bills totaling $125, the officer said in his report. affidavit.

On the south side of the road, other officers had made contact with a woman known to be a drug user, according to the affidavit.

She “was open and frank with the officers telling them that she had just met with Jamario to purchase narcotics and handed Officer Carson a folded piece of aluminum foil containing a single blue pill,” he said. -she said it was fentanyl, according to the affidavit.
