Statewide missing person alert issued for Minnesota teen

Moorhead, MN (KROC-AM News) – The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has issued a statewide missing person alert for a teenage boy.

Officials issued the bulletin on behalf of the Moorhead Police Department. The teenager was reported missing on Wednesday May 22.

The alert identifies the boy as 13 years Ericson Kpedeh. He was last seen leaving a residence in the 2500 block of 31st Avenue South in Moorhead.

Authorities say he might be riding a red or pink bike. Kpedeh is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

His direction of travel and description of his clothing were unknown as of Tuesday morning, according to the bulletin.

Anyone with information on Kpedeh's whereabouts is asked to contact the Red River Dispatch Center at (701) 451-7660.
