State police identify 2 people found dead in burning vehicle in Oxford – NBC Connecticut

State police have identified the two men who were found dead in a burning vehicle in Oxford last week.

State police said David J. Rivera, 36, and Carlos O. Calderon, 39, were found dead in a vehicle on Route 34 in Oxford on the morning of May 30.

They were both natives of Hartford.

State police were called around 4:10 a.m. and found the vehicle engulfed in flames.

After firefighters extinguished the fire, Rivera and Calderon were found dead in the vehicle.

Members of the Western District Major Crime Squad are investigating.
