Stabbing victim involved in fight at downtown Brooklyn smoke shop

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN – A DISPUTE BECAME BLOODY Wednesday evening, June 5, at Jay and Willoughby streets of downtown Brooklyn, reports the Daily News. Two customers of the Organic Life convenience store and smoke shop, who the owner said are regulars, got into a fight outside around 8 p.m. when a third man intervened. One of them stabbed the victim in the neck and face. The victim, who police had not identified at press time, was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn and was in critical condition. Police were still pursuing the other attackers.

The owner of the smokehouse, who did not give his name to the press, said: “They came in but they made trouble and I didn't want anything to do with them.” »
