Stabbing suspect arrested after argument: mobile police

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A woman was arrested and a man was taken to the hospital after an argument led to a stabbing, according to the Mobile Police Department.

An MPD news release says officers were called to the Coastal Pointe Apartments, 608 Azalea Road, around 6 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a “domestic incident involving a victim who was stabbed.”

LOCATION OF THE INCIDENT:

The victim had been transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries by the time police arrived, according to the release.

Officers said an argument began between a man and his girlfriend, now identified as Sharranda Parker, 28, of Mobile, when she allegedly cut him with a knife.

Parker was arrested and charged with domestic violence.
