Stabbing reported on Elm Street in Over-the-Rhine

THE PATH. ALL RIGHT. FIRST HERE AT NOON, LOOKING AT VERY COMFORTABLE WEATHER AS WE START OUR TUESDAY. THANK YOU FOR JOINING US. MY NAME IS KELLY RIPPIN AND I'M STEVEN ALBRITTON. WE HAVE A COOLER WEEK AFTER THE UNOFFICIAL START OF SUMMER. WE HAVE A CHANCE OF SHOWERS TOMORROW. METEOROLOGIST ALLISON ROGERS JOINS US. You know you can't be too upset about what you have. No, I mean, honestly, all things considered, I was talking with Randi a few minutes ago, and this week is nice, except for a little shower opportunity here and there. IT STILL LOOKS BEAUTIFUL AND THE CURRENT TEMPERATURES FEEL REALLY COMFORTABLE FOR THIS. THE HUMIDITY IS DROP THIS MORNING. 75 IN CINCINNATI RIGHT NOW TEMPERATURES ARE CLOSER TO 74. IN LOCKLAND FAIRFIELD. At 71, we have 71 in Mason right now. TEMPERATURES ARE CLOSER TO ABOUT 73. IN ANDERSON NORTH KENTUCKY VERY SIMILAR. WE HAVE 73 IN BURLINGTON, THE UNION HEADQUARTERS AT 72, 73 IN ERLANGER. RIGHT NOW IT'S BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE AND TEMPERATURES WILL STAY IN THE 70S FOR THE REST OF THIS AFTERNOON. IF YOU GO TO BALLPARK TONIGHT, EXPECT TEMPERATURES AROUND 7475 DURING THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON. IT'S GOING TO BE AWESOME. SO WHETHER YOU HAVE A KIDS WORKOUT OR YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO DO THAT YOU WANT TO BE OUTSIDE FOR GARDEN WORK, SOMETHING LIKE THAT, YOU'RE GOOD EXCEPT FOR A SECLUDED SHOWER TO OUR NORTH, I THINK CLOSER TO I-70, YOU HAVE A BETTER CHANCES OF SEEING A SHOWER TODAY. TOMORROW WE HAVE AFTERNOON SHOWERS. This is going to be something that more of us will have to deal with for TOMORROW. THESE AFTERNOONS TOO. TOMORROW IS ACTUALLY GOING TO BE A LITTLE COOLER, JUST FULLY IN THE UPPER 60S. BEYOND, THE FORECAST LOOKS REALLY GOOD AS WE GET INTO THE WEEKEND. HOWEVER, A LITTLE DIFFERENT THIS COMING WEEKEND, SO IN A FEW MINUTES I'M GONNA SHOW YOU WHEN WE START TO SEE THE RETURN OF MORE OF THE WEEKEND'S RAIN. AND THEN OF COURSE, WHAT THOSE TEMPERATURES WILL DO. KELLY. Very good ALLISON, THANK YOU. SUCH. FINAL DISCUSSIONS IN DONALD TRUMP'S HUSH MONEY TRIAL ARE NOW UNDERWAY, ENDING WEEKS OF TESTIMONY AND LEGAL STALKING. A LOT OF ATTENTION ON THESE CLOSINGS, BUT THE REAL OPPORTUNITY IS MOVING ON THIS 12-MEMBER JURY WITH THE PROSECUTOR ON THE CASE CENTERED ON THE TESTIMONY OF MICHAEL COHEN, TRUMP'S FORMER ATTORNEY, WHO HE SAYS IS A CONVICTED LIAR. FORMER PRESIDENT Trump is accused of reimbursing Cohen for payments made to an adult film actress before the 2016 election and disguising those payments. Trump's defense team is expected to spend hours explaining how prosecutors failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump falsified business records. He is charged with 34 counts and has pleaded not guilty. NEW TODAY ON WLWT LOVELAND POLICE ASKING FOR HELP FINDING A MISSING PERSON. IT’S BRITTANY MORAN ON YOUR SCREEN. The 30-year-old man was last seen in the Loveland area between May 15 and 16. Police don't know what she was last wearing, but tell us she is five years old, about 140 pounds and has dark hair. If you see Brittany or know where she is, you are asked to contact Loveland Police. KENTUCKY GOVERNOR ANDY BESHEAR DECLARING A STATE OF EMERGENCY IN KENTUCKY AFTER SEVERE STORMS SWEEP ACROSS THE COMMONWEALTH. SO WE NOW KNOW AT LEAST FIVE PEOPLE DEAD, INCLUDING A 34-YEAR-OLD MAN FROM LOUISVILLE WHO WAS HIT BY A FALLING TREE. AS OF LAST NIGHT, APPROXIMATELY 52,000 CUSTOMERS WERE STILL WITHOUT POWER IN KENTUCKY, THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CONTINUES TO INVESTIGATE DAMAGE THERE, CONFIRMING AT LEAST ONE EF TORNADO HAS AFFECTED IN ALL 14 COUNTIES AND FIVE CITIES. DECLARED EMERGENCIES. THE GOVERNOR SAYS MANY AFFECTED FAMILIES HAVE COPED POORLY WITH THESE SEVERE STORMS BEFORE. THESE ARE A LOT OF COUNTIES THAT WERE HIT BY THE TORNADO OF DECEMBER 2021. IN FACT, THE SAME BLOCK IN BARNSLEY WAS HIT AND IT LOOKS LIKE AT LEAST ONE FAMILY THAT LOST THEIR HOME IN THE 2021 TORNADOES LOST THEIR AGAIN HOUSE YESTERDAY NIGHT. This is simply devastating to hear. THE VICTIMS OF THE STORM WHO DIED ARE THEREFORE THE AGE OF 34 TO 67 YEARS OLD. GOVERNOR BESHEAR SAYS AT LEAST ONE OTHER PERSON IS STILL IN CRITICAL CONDITION. He says it could be several days before power is fully restored. AND A KENTUCKY WOMAN WHO SURVIVED SUNDAY'S TORNADOES IS RELIVING THE SAME DEVASTATION SHE FACED SEVERAL YEARS AGO. BACK IN DECEMBER 2021. CLARA RICE LOST HER BARNSLEY HOME IN A TORNADO. OUR CO-ANCHOR MEGAN MITCHELL SHARES HOW SHE WILL BUILD AGAIN. Wait for 329. Can you get off here? WE NEED HELP. We had someone under this debris in 2021. Clara Rice thought she had lost her grandsons forever. I was looking everywhere to see where the bathtub is. I had no idea where these babies were. SHE HAD READ BOTH BABIES IN A BATHTUB. A GOOD SAMARITAN ENDED UP SAVED THEM. I told someone. So I ran up there and ran around the house again, screaming and the little one, uh, 18 month old started crying and it was in the yard. The Shire, and she put them in the house, was always above them. WHILE THE BABIES SURVIVE. TONIGHT HIS HOUSE WAS DESTROYED. Just two and a half years later this threat returned, as we know from 2021 we had this experience with the tornado. SO NOW I'M MORE ALERT ABOUT THE WEATHER. SO I CALLED MY NEIGHBOR. I said, Hey, are you interested if we come to your shelter? AND HE SAID, ABSOLUTELY YES, COME ON. STORMS BRING BARNSLEY LAWYERS ONCE AGAIN AS CLARA HAS TURNED TO HER FAITH IN CRISIS. I knew when I heard it, I said, I know it's a tornado. I know in my heart it's a tornado. But then again, I began to say, Lord, I praise you for your protection. I praise you for life. I thank you for what you did, for getting us through. AND THEN I THANK YOU. You're going to make us experience this again. CLARA AND HER TWO GRANDSONS SURVIVED THE NIGHT IN THE STORM SHELTER. BUT WHEN DAYLIGHT CAME, REALITY SET OUT. She says she's just happy to be alive. I said, Lord, it doesn't matter if you take my house or not. YOU GAVE ME LIFE AND I CONGRATULATE YOU FOR THAT. You know, you saved me and my grandsons once before, and I congratulate you and thank you for that. And I know you're going to do it twice. THESE ARE ONLY MATERIAL THINGS. IT CAN BE REPLACED BY A LIFE CANNOT MEGAN MI
