Stabbing death of Chicago restaurant worker was unprovoked, prosecutors say

The West Loop restaurant employee accused of fatally stabbing his co-worker Wednesday at City Winery will stay in jail, a judge ordered Friday. Prosecutors said Clarence Johnson, a 41-year-old dishwasher at City Winery, allegedly used a pocket knife to attack his co-worker, 47-year-old Francois Swain. Johnson was charged with first-degree murder and possession of a controlled substance in connection with the attack. .
