St. Catherine student, 15, accused of stabbing another teen

A fifteen-year-old St. Catherine student has been charged with murder following a stabbing attack on Eddison Boulevard in Spanish on May 29.

Dead is Zavear Edwards, 16.

According to reports, around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Edwards, the accused, got into an altercation. The fifteen-year-old allegedly used a sharp object to stab Edwards multiple times. Edwards died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Her attacker was charged on Saturday following a question-and-answer session in the presence of a lawyer. His identity is being withheld because he is a minor.
