Spokane Valley woman makes first court appearance after alleged stabbing | Spokane News

SPOKANE, Wash. – A Spokane Valley woman made her first court appearance today after allegedly stabbing a man in his trailer on June 3.

Court documents say Katrina Soto broke into a man's trailer with two other men and demanded repayment of money the man supposedly owed his family.

The man said he had no money and was then repeatedly beaten with batons by the men who accompanied Soto. He then managed to yell to a friend who was also in the trailer to call 911.

During the altercation with Soto and the two men, the victim was stabbed multiple times, according to court filings. Spokane County Sheriff's deputies arrived on scene and arrested Soto and the male victim was sent to the hospital with serious injuries.

Soto is currently incarcerated in the Spokane County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
