Spokane County deputies search for missing 83-year-old man

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) and Search and Rescue (SAR) are currently searching for a missing 83-year-old man and are asking the community for help.

According to the SCSO, on May 29, a family member of Robert W. Webb called to report him missing, stating that he had not been seen or heard from in approximately two days. Concerned for his well-being, they checked his residence near the intersection of East Tallman Road and North Jackson Road, but he was not there.

Deputies mentioned that Webb lives alone and is known to wander around, but his absence for this extended period of time is unusual. Given his dementia and general health, it is feared he may have gotten lost or injured himself while walking.

SCSO deputies sent a search and rescue team to locate Webb, but as of May 30, he had not been found.

Described as an 83-year-old white man, approximately 5'09″, 155 pounds, with short gray hair, gray eyes, and a goatee or unshaven facial hair, Webb's clothing at the time of his disappearance is unsure. Deputies said he usually wore a dark hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

Deputies urge anyone with information on the whereabouts or sightings of Robert W. Webb to contact Crime Check at 509-456-2233 or 911, referring to #10074216.
