'Southern Charm' Star's Alleged Hit-and-Run Case Still Open and Active Amid DUI

Here's the deal…the “Southern Charm” star may have recently been involved in a drunk driving case in South Carolina – but there's another case that has ties to her ( or his vehicle, rather) in the same State. . in which his car was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run.

It happened last October: Kathryn was identified as a suspect in a hit-and-run investigation after a sheriff's deputy was injured outside an elementary school… even though she didn't never been arrested or charged with a crime because they couldn't do it. pin her as driver.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Kathryn's car was determined to be the vehicle in question — but like we said, they never pulled her over…and police sources tell us they didn't. are still not ready to do so. , even now.

We're told there hasn't been much progress in the investigation… but cops are always willing to take new leads and pursue them if they arise – so she's not out of the woods.

Sure…that's probably good news for Kathryn – that she seems to be safe (for now), but she has a whole new can of worms to deal with in a recent DUI.
