South Carolina parents accused of trafficking their own 14-year-old daughter for $20

South Carolina detectives have charged a mother and father with human trafficking of their own 14-year-old daughter.

The case began in Greenville County; however, this mother and father live in Anderson County, South Carolina.

According to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office, the couple would seek out people who would pay them to have sex with their daughter.

At least one of those people, a 67-year-old Greenville County man, paid the mother and father $20 on the Cash App every time they delivered the child to that person.

A search warrant was issued for the couple's Cash App account and detectives discovered the couple was receiving between $1,300 and $1,400 in payments per month.

Human trafficking charges were filed against Wilson and Lawrence. They are being held without bail at the Anderson County Detention Center.

William Barendsen, another man, accepted the couple's offer and was charged with criminal sexual activity with a minor, according to the sheriff's office.
