LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 17-year-old boy is facing murder and other charges in the shooting that killed another teenager in May. Witnesses told police the shooting was related to a dispute over a gun, according to police documents.

Robert Saulsberry, who is certified as an adult, is one of three teenagers arrested in the killing of Jovan Wright Bullock, 16, who died of a gunshot wound to the chest on May 11. Bullock was shot outside his home in the 2300 block of Goldhill Way near Vegas Drive and MLK Boulevard, police said.

In addition to Saulsberry, Doir Jenkins, 18, and a 14-year-old boy were also arrested in the case more than six weeks after the deadly shooting.

Investigators reviewed neighborhood surveillance video showing the three teens walking toward Goldhill Way as well as a license plate from a car seen in the neighborhood at the time of the shooting. Using that information, social media posts, witness interviews and an anonymous tip, police said they were able to link the three teens to the shooting.

Jenkins, who was being held at the Clark County Detention Center on a firearms charge, was under house arrest at the time of the shooting. The 14-year-old is being held at the Clark County Juvenile Center.

Saulsberry and Jenkins are charged with murder and robbery with use of a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit murder.
